“Some writing projects are easier than others.  Sometimes you have to wrestle the words onto the page.  At others, they run to you and all you have to do is catch them.”
“Writing Carol of the Horse was a catch-the-words kind of project.  It appeared one day, knocking politely but persistently on the door of my consciousness.  It would be misguided to take any credit for it.  All I did was commit to capturing what I heard and saw in my mind.”
“This project wouldn’t exist without the talents and commitment of wonderful artists like Sharie, Danielle, and Chip.  I feel blessed to be involved in any project with them.  I believe God has great things in store for this story.”
Ami has provided advertising and technical copy for corporations such as Whirlpool, Miles Labs, Haworth, Inc. and Meijer. Her published credits include video voice-overs, video cover text, feature news articles, inspirational essays, technical writing, weekly columns, policy and training manuals, press releases, ghost writing, newsletters, promotional materials, specialty publications, fiction, poetry, greeting cards and study guides. She is a member of BMI and a charter member of USAGEM.
Ami, her husband, Robert, and daughter, Cassandra, live with their “vast menagerie” on a 100-year old farm in Southwestern Michigan.
